Johann Zueblin has a basic education in agriculture and a degree in horticulture.
After 13 years activities in the sector of agriculture and rural development for the Swiss Development Agency and the World Bank in Africa and Latin America, Johann Zueblin joined Migros in 1988. During 10 years he worked as an agricultural specialist and later as director of the Migros own program for sustainable agriculture. In 1998 he became head of the Migros quality management scheme and 2005 responsible of the sector standards and social compliance, including standards for agriculture, food safety and social compliance within the Migros supply chains. 2010 he was nominated Deputy Head Sustainability & Issue Management at the Migros Group level.
