Earlier this year our CEO Luc Richner was invited by Global Go to join a panel on the discussion concerning infrastructure and regulations for the newly approved Pilot project of the distribution of recreational cannabis in Switzerland.
With Alfredo Pascual as a moderator, other panelists were Lino Cereghetti, Chief Operating Office, Pure Holding AG Andrew Petronanos, Founder, FINELEAF and Dr. Michael Ruckle, Director of Plant Science at Puregene AG.
A transcript of some of the talk below;
It's not just who produces, it's who consumes and how does it get there, how does it not go into the black market, How does it stay within the system, how do you have compliance issues in place, how much do you produce, how many people will consume so it's really a socio-cultural study that has to be addressed on all levels of the supply chain.
It's a scientific study, so whatever you can put in there and the more you can gain out of it, I'll stress it again, it's a scientific study so the more data you can take out of it, be that on the delivery methods, the bioavailability, be that on the production side, on the manufacturing side, be that on the complete circular economy aspect, be that on the socio-cultural aspect, be that on black, white market, be that on criminalization, youth protection etc. so that all belongs in there.
